Dong-A Pharmaceutical announced on Oct. 11th that it will launch Zydena 50mg, a low
dosage pill
(vs. existing
100mg, 200mg) for daily treatment. This new Zydena 50mg is the world’s second erectile dysfunction daily
treatment and is intended to boost up confidence whenever patients want without being conscious of being
impotence.
The new Zydena 50mg is different from other existing oral erectile dysfunction pills which are needed to be
taken before the event. If patients take this regularly (once in a day at certain time), it will help patients to
engage in sexual activity without planning it ahead, boosting up the psychological comfort while regaining
confidence.
Daily Zydena 50mg pill showed the meaningful clinical results as studies done by 10 domestic hospitals
including Seoul National University Hospital since June 2008 on 237 patients showed 6.59 point improvement in
erectile dysfunction domain (vs. placebo 3.14 point) while showing significant improvement in satisfaction and
efficacy, scoring 75% within the treated group. Daily intake of Zydena 50mg is expected to enhance quality of
life as one will experience improvement in sexual desire as well as sexual satisfaction.
There will be minimal side effects with insignificant occurrence of facial redness while experiencing virtually no
interference on sexual activities. Professor Je-Jong Kim at Korea University Hospital, one of researchers who
conducted the clinical studies, said “sales of ‘daily intake Zydena 50mg’ will give patients who did not have
satisfying results from existing erectile dysfunction drugs another option by adding different way of intake and
dosage.
The drug is expected to be available during the mid October at the drug stores and doctor prescription will be
necessary
