Growtropin II Injection, Dong-A Pharmaceutical’s human growth hormone product, was selected for the 49th
IR52 Jang Young-Shil Award in the first week of 2006. Through extensive R&D, Dong-A was able to develop a
stabilized liquid injectable HGH product, and the company received a patent for Growtropin II Injection in 1998.




The product can be easily and accurately injected by the user, and is of high purity because it does not
require freeze drying. The IR52 Jang Young-Shil Award is given to original and technically important research
achievements.




The Awards are managed by the Korea Industrial Technology Association and the Maeil
Business Newspaper, and are presented by the Minister of Science and Technology. “IR” stands for “industrial
research”, and 52 represents the 52 weeks in a year.
